Cost of driving lessons in Brighton and Hove

The prices of driving lessons can seem quite expensive, but the costs are very competitive and we provide in-car training aids to support your learning. We offer manual driving lessons in Brighton, Hove, Shoreham, Portslade and Southwick.

Every new driver is different and it is hard to assess the amount of time it will take you to learn to drive as this is often dependent upon an individual’s learning abilities, previous skills and the hours of practice you can put in.

You are in good hands with our Grade A Approved Driving Instructor. Guy has 25 years experience in teaching people to drive and his style of teaching and expertise encourages beginners to gain confidence and learn quicker.

Standard prices for manual driving lessons

We are only able to take block bookings at this time as the diary is booking ahead.

Block lessons are payable in full at time of booking. The prices are excellent value.  Payments are through bank transfer.

Cancellations – re-arranging notice for all lessons except 6 or more hours in the same week

A FULL 24 HOURS REQUIRED FOR ALL LESSON CANCELLATIONS except Monday cancellations which must be reported by 5 pm. latest on the Saturday before as the office is not open on a Sunday. (After this time, they will be classed as 9am Monday)

Lessons can only be moved 2 weeks ahead to the nearest available date, unless we have no diary space. We do not move lessons months ahead and will only move them on by 2 weeks unless we have no available slots.

Repeated cancellations, on a regular basis, will result in your lessons being terminated. All lessons used will be charged at the full price of £40 and the balance will be refunded less an admin fee of £30. 

Refunds

If you are unhappy at any time, or you change your mind or stop driving for a period of time, all unused lessons will be refunded. 

Discounts on blocks are not refunded, and used lessons will be charged at full price.

This must be claimed within 3 months, after this no refunds will be issued. Lessons will not be replaced. 

As above, an administration fee of £30 for all refunds will apply. Once a refund has been issued and there are no lessons left with Vogue, future lessons will not be offered, and you will need to find a new instructor.

TEST DAY CANCELLATIONS REQUIRE A FULL 72 HOUR NOTICE

CANCELLING 6 or more HOURS IN THE SAME WEEK REQUIRES FULL 48 HOUR NOTICE. Note cancellations after 5pm Saturday are classes as Monday.

Terms and Conditions

On lesson days your instructor will arrive at the arranged pick-up point and text you when he is there. He will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes and, unless he receives a notification saying you are on your way, he will leave and the lesson will be lost.

If lessons remain unused for a period of longer than 3 months for any reason, and you have not been in touch, there is no refund or replacement of lessons. Refunds must be claimed within 3 months, after this, no refunds will be issued. An administration fee of £30 for all refunds will apply. (If your bank does not accept bank transfers, a chaps transfer fee of £25 will be incurred.)

Block booking discounts are non-refundable. Just like in some industries, you get a discount on a product or service by booking on the internet, you are getting a discount for booking more than one lesson with the instructor and committing to a course of lessons. If under any special circumstances you then stop or change your mind and we agree to a refund, the discount will not be applied to any refund given. This means the number of lessons you have had from the block booking will be charged at the normal hourly rate and deducted from the amount you paid before any monies are returned. Cash refunds will not be given.

If Block Booking lessons are cancelled and pushed into the future, and fuel prices and charges rise within that period, we will need to charge pupils the difference between the hourly rates.

Ever Increasing Fuel Cost

All booked lesson prices/dates contracted will be honoured. However, if our prices rise during the course of your block of lessons due to fuel costs, and you choose to move your dates forward into the diary year, past the last lesson date on your block, a top up to the new lesson prices will apply. Any lesson moved within the dates can be moved without extra charge.
